NSW: Ambulances will arrive on time despite paperwork bans

The New South Wales Ambulance Service says industrial action by its officers won't delay
ambulances in reaching rural patients.

Spokesman GRAEME FIELD says paperwork bans, linked to a rural staffing review, began on
Sunday.

MR FIELD says the bans are administrative, and will have no effect on service delivery.

He hopes the dispute will be resolved at a meeting between union officials and New South
Wales Health Minister CRAIG KNOWLES today.

The bans are in place in all ambulance stations outside Sydney.
