IDEAS INTO DOLLARS- 12TH BIENNIAL ALABAMA CONFERENCE FOR INVENTORS

JACKSONVILLE, Ala., Jan. 28 -- Jacksonville State University issued the following news release:

Inventors and experts from around the region will be getting together on March 10, 2011, at the Alabama Conference for Inventors. The conference will be held at the Jacksonville State University Houston Cole Library in Jacksonville, Alabama. Sponsors for the event are the Jacksonville State University (JSU) Center for Economic Development, the JSU Small Business Development Center, and INVENT ALABAMA.

All inventors or potential inventors are welcome and encouraged to attend. The Conference is aimed at helping eliminate some of the barriers to successful inventing as well as providing inventors with good information for furthering their ideas. A variety of topics will be addressed with two Inventors sharing the ups and downs of their invention process, internet research, A "Guide Thru the Innovation Jungle", U.

S. Patent & Trademark updates, Inventors will have ample opportunity to network with their peers and with speakers. Inventors will also have the chance to talk with the U.

S. Patent & Trademark Office representative on an individual basis.

A representative from the U.

S. Patent and Trademark Office and Ron Reardon, former United Inventor's Association (UIA) Board President, are the featured speakers. The Conference will conclude with an open forum for questions and answers with many of the speakers.
