MECHANICVILLE William R. Gaudette, 78, of County Road 75, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at his home after being stricken. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born in Amesbury, Mass, October 8, 1930, son of the late Remi and Margaret Hume Gaudette, Bill was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Air Force. He was a longtime employee and foreman with Fort Orange Press of Albany, for over 40 years, before retiring. Bill enjoyed taking care of his home and property, loved to tinker with woodworking, and was proud of his large miniature duck …
