NSW: Total fire ban in place for most of NSW
Total fire bans are in place for much of NSW .. with another day of hot and windy conditions
expected.
Five major fires are burning across the state today .. including blazes at Windsor
Downs .. in the Hawksbury region .. and in Gross Valley .. in the Blue Mountains.
Other fires of concern are burning in the New England/Northern Tablelands region.
A top temperature of 33 degrees is forecast for Sydney city .. with Penrith .. in Sydney's
west .. expected to scorch under 40 degree heat.
